Mike Lane (Channing Tatum) hat seine Tage als Stripper Magic Mike mittlerweile hinter sich gelassen. Doch das Leben hat ihm in den letzten Jahren gehörig zugesetzt: Seine Geldprobleme und ein fehlgeschlagener Business-Deal zwingen ihn dazu, in Miami als Barkeeper zu jobben. Immerhin lernt er so eines Tages auch Maxandra Mendoza (Salma Hayek) kennen. Nachdem er ihr einen Striptease der Extraklasse serviert hat, bietet sie ihm die Chance, aus seinem Barkeeper-Dasein zu entkommen: Gemeinsam wollen sie eine große Striptease-Liveshow auf die Beine stellen, die erotisches Tanzen zur Kunstform erhebt und alles Dagewesene in den Schatten stellt.
