Königstochter Anna, begibt sich - begleitet von dem kantigen Naturburschen Kristoff und dessen treuem Rentier Sven - auf eine abenteuerliche Reise, um ihre Schwester Elsa zu finden, die mit ihren Zauberkräften das Königreich Arendelle im ewigen Winter gefangen hält. Auf ihrer gefährlichen Mission setzen den beiden nicht nur die Naturelemente zu, sie begegnen auch mystischen Trollen, müssen sich einem Schneemonster stellen und finden im urkomischen Schneemann Olaf einen ebenso treuen wie unverzichtbaren Begleiter.
